What to Know About Miami
Getting Around
The Metromover is free and runs every few minutes through Downtown and Brickell. Free trolleys cover Wynwood, Little Havana and Coconut Grove. Rideshare handles the rest.
When to Go
November to April is warm, dry and the busiest. June to September is hot and humid with afternoon storms that usually pass inside an hour. Late October into November is the quiet gap.
Hurricane Season
Officially June through November, with August to October the active stretch. Worth watching the forecast and keeping outdoor plans loose.
Art Basel Week
Early December fills the city and rates roughly double. Book far in advance for those dates or plan around them.
Beyond the City
Key Biscayne has the beaches and nature preserves, and the Everglades start about an hour west. Both are day trips rather than overnight ones.
Multilingual Support
Miami runs in Spanish and English. Our team works in both, before booking and throughout the stay.
Pick the version of the city you want to wake up in.
